When deciding on what you want your yard to look like, it's important to consider a few things regarding your outdoor furniture. I always recommend not to have unfinished outdoor furniture for two reasons:

Firstly, If you spill anything on it at all you won't be able to get the colour out of the wood. For example, coffee spills will easily wipe off for the most part with a protective staining but will be in the wood forever if it's unfinished. 

Secondly, any unfinished outdoor furniture will grey over time outside as these are made of pine. If you look at this link here, the second picture shows what I mean by "Grey", as this is what unfinished outdoor pieces transition to after a couple of years. Once it greys, you'll never be able to recover it with a new stain. Many people prefer the grey look, and that's perfectly fine! Here's what it looks like:

However, if you do decide to get it professionally finished by us, you might want to restain the furniture every three years or so if you want to keep it looking fresh. Staining can be a pain, so this is important to consider before deciding if you want to stain it or not. 

We have three fantastic styles of finishing colours from which to choose: Autumn Gold, Mahogany, and Nano Teak. While all three are great, it's important to note that the Mahogany stain is a little bit more orange than the pictures would suggest. It truly does look remarkable, but only if you're really looking for an orangy tint. 

We don't offer Clear Staining for Outdoor Furniture because there isn't a clear stain available with enough UV protection for our standards. I prefer the Nano Teak colour, to me it's the most natural and would be the closest to "clear coat". Unfinished is an option, but for outdoor furniture it's always best to get it stained with UV protection stainer, even if you do so yourself to save cost, because the piece will transition to grey over time if not protected with the extra coat.
