The Knotty Cedar Mountain View Outdoor Sauna is a solid wood timber frame structure that ships to you in an pre cut and easy to assemble kit. Completely manufactured with knotty cedar the mortise and tenon timber frame kit can be installed anywhere because of the unique corner post base design. The black metal standing seam roof is made with 26 gauge steel and has a 20 year warranty. Optional bronze tinted or mirrorpane glass windows and doors, optional bench layout on the inside and many different heater options make this sauna a desired model for any home or cottage.

What kind of platform do I need to have prepared to be ready for my sauna installation?Your sauna platform will need to be at least as big as the sauna footprint you selected. The easiest and most common way to make a flat platform for your sauna is crushed gravel that is packed (a shovel will work to pack it, no need for heavy machinery). A flat platform for your sauna could also be a deck or a dock, tiles, or stone. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but please make sure that it is off of the grass, dirt, or earth, and that the platform is relatively even so that your sauna can be stable. How do I prepare for my electric sauna?Before your sauna arrives, make sure you have enough power in your circuit to operate your sauna. If you don’t, you may have to upgrade your circuit. You need at least a 240V / 40AMP circuit breaker for your electric sauna that is powered to 8kw and below - which is the same as an electric hot tub - and a 50AMP circuit breaker if your electric sauna heater is powered to 9kw and above. Remember, you’ll need a certified electrician to hook up your sauna. What do I send to my electrician to prepare for my electric sauna heater?Your electrician will need your selected heater’s Owner’s Manual and Certificate of Compliance (Electrical Approval). You will find these documents below in the HEATERS tab. Please specify to the electrician how many kW you selected in your order. I’m planning on building my sauna. How do I build it and how long does it take?We’ve carefully designed our sauna kits so that it’s not majorly difficult to build your sauna. If you (or a contractor) can build a deck, then you can surely build this sauna! The sauna kit comes with written instructions as well as links for resources for video instructions. You can also find all of these resources within this tab. The time it takes to build a sauna really varies for how long it takes you to build your sauna. Our installers typically get it done in about four hours, so it might take you about double that time for those less experienced. For two people it should take 6-8 hours, maybe over the course of a few days. We’ve had many customers tell us that it was so fun and rewarding to build their sauna! |

Log Furniture and More warrants our Hudson Saunas for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship under normal/residential use, as applicable, from the date of receipt of the product by the original end-user consumer. Conditions: This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear and/or natural weather conditions. This warranty does not cover regular required maintenance of the sauna, (eg. Tightening bands on the barrels, cleaning or staining the sauna) refer to your sauna assembly manual for maintenance guidelines. This warranty does not cover misuse or negligence and the manufacturer and associated retailers are not liable for any injury or damage caused by the product. This warranty is a parts only warranty and any service or labor costs would not be considered as part of the warranty. |

The buyer is obligated to read the user manual and follow the instructions and requirements presented. Damage to the product caused by not following the instructions or from improper sauna use, or tampering of the heater will void the warranty. If there are any defects on the sauna heater, where the manufacturer can be blamed, the buyer has the right to demand a replacement or repair of the product.
