I recently had delivered (yesterday) five pieces of furniture. I love four of the five pieces, but this canoe bookcase with drawers disappointed me greatly. It is stained on the inside and painted sky blue on the outside.
Two things:
Whoever painted it, got blue paint on the stained part in two places. Why not just wipe it off? I assume it was stained first. They must have seen it and said well "good enough." No pride.
The nail marks on the blue part should have been filled in before it was painted. It looks terrible. Each shelf has a row of nail marks. I will have to fill them in now and repaint. It's suppose to look like a canoe right? Smooth. It would have required very little more time to get this shelf right. This is just sloppy.
I was going to buy a bedroom set - queen bed and dressers etc. but not now.
I just wanted to email you and let you know we just built a boathouse near the lake on our property as an extra place for guests to stay when they visit. I refuse to just buy furniture for my boathouse from the cheap, flimsy furniture store nearby so I started looking for something quality online that could be delivered to me. This is just the type of motif I was going for, and it looks perfect in the living room of the cabin with all my coffee table style books on it, and a few crafts and knick-knacks. I love the drawers so I can keep things like board games and extra books available for people to play, and the whole thing looks really nice. Plus for the price I paid it is made incredibly well and I know it’ll last a long time. Thank you
We had been looking for a boat style bookcase for our cottage and finally found yours online. We were tentative to order online but after speaking with you we ordered it and absolutely love it.
