The Arctic Cold Plunge Tub is manufactured in Canada and comes completely assembled and ready to use. The white plastic shell is cut and welded with HDPE plastic and comes with a cedar skirt held in place by the stainless steel bands. Fill this tub with cold water or buy the optional chiller unit which has a built in ozone filter for ease of mind cold tub therapy. The solid cedar cover and steps are great accessories as well.
Can I use it the Cold Plunge Tub outdoors?
Cold Plunge Tubs and Chillers are designed for outdoor use. We recommend purchasing the plunge cover for enhanced performance in outdoor settings. In freezing weather (0°C / 32°F and colder) either drain water from chiller and store in a temperature-controlled area or keep the chiller running at a hot temperature to keep water from freezing and damaging the chiller unit. To maximize use of the chiller, it is advisable to provide shade from both sun and rain exposure.
The 110 volt Cold Plunge Chiller (shown in the video below), which comes with a built in circulation pump and ozone filter, can be added for an extra charge. The heavy duty frame is on castors for easy moving and the unit will cool your tub down to 3 degrees as well as heat the water up to 104 degrees to convert to a hot soaking tub. The Chiller can operate as a stand-alone heater/chiller unit or can be connected to a wi-fi connection to be controlled by the Smart Life app.
