The headboard stands at 40" high, the footboard at 24" high, and the space between the floor and bed slats is a comfortable 8". Constructed from the highest quality cedar, these beds are built to last. A mattress is required, and a box spring is optional with our extra strength slats.

I ordered this bed with the additional drawers for my son and he loves it! I wish the drawers were a bit deeper, though. they can’t fit all of his clothes so we just use it to store his socks and toys ahah

I recently ordered the Traditional Log Bed (Butternut finish) for myself and the Expressions Log Bed (Early American finish) for my son. Very sturdy beds that were easy to put together.
