The 12" Zephyr 2.0 memory foam mattress is made of 5 layers and uses 6 different types of foam.

     Breathable cover:
     74.5% Polyester, 10.5% Viscose, 7% Organic Cotton,
     8% Spandex infused with Nanobionic® Technology.

     Phase changing material:
     Thin KulKote® cooling layer.

     Thermoregulatory layer (1 inch): Polysleep open cell viscoelastic
     hybrid foam infused with GelFlex Plus - Density of 2.6 lb/ft3.

     Comfort layer (2 inches):
     Polysleep open cell viscoelastic hybrid foam ISO 20743
     certified - Density of 3.0 lb/ft3.

     Hip support layer (3 inches):
     Polysleep foam - Density of 2.0 lb/ft3.

     Transition layer - Head, shoulders and legs (3 inches):
     Polysleep foam - Density of 1.8 lb/ft3.

     Support layer (6 inches):
     Polysleep foam - Density of 1.5 lb/ft3.

Our mattresses are rated on a firmness scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest. Experts from various medical backgrounds recommend a semi-firm mattress between 5 and 8 on the firmness scale.  Our mattress is a 7.
