The North Ridge Bed is crafted from the finest Wormy Maple or Pine in the heart of ontario. The choice of a smooth or millsawn/ruff sawn texture allows you to tailor the bed to your desired level of rugged natural beauty. The handcrafted wood slats with center supports accommodate both box spring and mattress combinations, while the option to add extra strength slats eliminates the need for a box spring entirely.

Wood types:
Wormy Maple - A type of hardwood that is characterised by wormholes and colour variations/mineral streaks caused by the Ambrosia beetle. This wood is highly sought after for its unique rustic appearance and strength. With its light brown colour and wavy grain patterns, every board is unique.
Brown Maple - This light to medium brown maple has a subtle grain pattern which is both durable and versatile for wood furniture.
Red Oak - This hardwood is a popular choice due to its durability and distinctive grain pattern. The medium reddish brown colour adds warmth and character to any piece of furniture.
Wood textures:
Smooth - Wood is sanded smooth to show natural grain and texture.
Millsawn - This is our most rustic texture that creates a rugged natural look and feel. It is a rough lumber that comes from the handplaning and sanding from the mill. This is not a flat surface and can be uneven.
