Available types of wood:

Pine - A commonly used softer wood for furniture. It is a very light yellowish colour with a general uniform colour and texture. It usually has many knots with a small grain pattern.

Wormy Maple - A type of hardwood that is characterized by wormholes and colour variations/mineral streaks that are caused by the Ambrosia beetle. This wood is highly sought after for its unique rustic appearance and strength. There are no two boards alike in this beautiful and popular wood. In general a light brown colour with way grain patterns.

Brown Maple - A type of hardwood that is prized for versatility and durability. It has a light brown to medium brown colour with a subtle grain pattern. This is a good choice for any furniture.

Red Oak - This hardwood is used for a lot of furniture and flooring. The medium reddish brown colour with a very distinct grain pattern is know for durability. Red Oak is a strong hardwood and has a slightly coarser texture.

Wood Textures:

Smooth - Wood is sanded smooth to show natural grain and texture.

Windswept - This is applied with a very coarse sandpaper. It makes the wood appear worn and weathered from years of exposure to the wind and weather.

Millsawn - This is our most rustic texture that creates a rugged natural look and feel. It is a rough lumber that comes from the handplaning and sanding from the mill. This is not a flat surface and can be uneven.

Stains:

Actual colours may vary from your device's screen. Due to the nature and colour of the wood each stain colour will look different when applied to the different types of wood. Wood such as pine and cedar absorb the stains more that hardwoods like Maple and Oak. The stain colours can also be effected by the texture of the wood as well as the base colour of the wood.
